Way to go Ms Sanon!
The incestuous Lannister siblings continue their awkward relationship as the search for Tyrion goes on after he killed Tywin Lannister and flees with Lord Varys from King’s Landing when the bells start tolling. “There’s no justice in the world, not unless we make it”. Sansa Stark’s new guardian marks these words to avenge her family from the Lannisters who killed her father and resulted in the killing of his family with just Arya Stark and Ned Stark’s bastard son, John Snow left at The Wall. The Lannisters were the main reason for the near end of the Stark name and now John Snow is the only one who can technically take the Stark name forward.
The youngest of the Lannisters becomes King at King’s Landing and blood is splattered. The wildlings have a new uprising against The Watch on The Wall of ice that protects the Seven Kingdoms from the White Walkers and the Wildlings.
Daenerys Targaryen, the former Khaleesi, vows to break all the rules set to take the iron throne and take what is rightfully her’s with the help of her dragons who have grown to their full size and capacity despite being locked away. The one dragon that flew away may have been lost but she still has two more dragons to claim her right to the throne with might if the bent rules forbid her from taking King’s Landing.
Melisandre is still trying to use the light of fire to guide the dark lonely path to get her master the throne who is crushed after a failed attempt to overpower the Lannisters at King’s Landing. The stage is set and Season 5 of Game of Thrones airs on April 12th, 2015. Watch the trailer here.

Sonakshi Sinha hinted that the Bigg Boss 8 Halla Bol winner will be signing Bollywood offers as soon as he steps out of the reality show. So, we decided to find out who would he look best opposite?

Gautam Gulati is ready for Bollywood. From flaunting his hot body to dancing, singing and romancing the cameras, this dude has given an audition to millions who were watching. His victory is a confirmation that the audience loved him. If he was to be roped in by a big banner film, who would make a perfect match for him? Read on to find out….
Alia Bhatt: This petite beauty is game for hatke roles. Unlike some of her seniors who would have chosen only an A-lister, Alia has romanced Randeep Hooda in Highway. Besides, GG and Bhatt gal would compliment each other well and make good jodi. The next Chetan Bhagat book adaptation on 70mm could feature this hot pair, right?
Shraddha Kapoor: The Ek Villain heroine had insisted that she wants to work only with the younger lot. Her statement had miffed Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham after she turned down a chance to romance them. Shraddha has had successful pairings opposite heroes of her generation Sidharth Malhotra and Aditya Roy Kapur. With Gautam being just 27, we’re sure the Kapoor gal wouldn’t mind romancing him. After all both of them have a lot in common. They can compete for the Ms/Mr goody two shoes title.
Kriti Sanon: The Heropanti heroine’s pairing with dashing Tiger Shroff was loved by fans. The actress who has worked down South created quite a sensation with her Bollywood debut too. This leggy lass would be a good competition to Gulati in the looks department. According to us, together they will scorch the silver screen.

Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan – Bollywood actors who will rock The Roast!

Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan – Bollywood actors who will rock The Roast!

Post AIB Knockout – The Roast of Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor, we were left pondering on who else in tinsel town would be game for this off beat, politically incorrect show… And here are a few of them we think can rock The Roast…

All India Bakchod can send us a thank you note later. After all they did manage to tickle our funny bone and present to us an all new fun side of Bollywood. So, we decided to help them out with suggestions for their next high voltage live show. Yes, we have a list of must haves on the AIB Roast that they can refer to when they plan their next show. Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and a few more who would do complete justice to their controversial chat.
SRK: King Khan’s sense of humour is legendary. This witty actor has miffed many and managed to make some mean jokes look cool. We simply love Shah Rukh‘s funny side. He can be offensive and yet palatable. If he was to be roasted the panel would not just have aa great time, but should be ready to take on some below the belt wisecracks.
Alia Bhatt: At Ranveer and Karan Johar’s Roast, the 2 States heroine was also grilled. We must admit she took quite a few punches on her chin with a smile. And after watching her at the event and her Genius Of The Year video that went viral on YouTube we’re of the opinion that she will not only enjoy but also rock the roast!
Varun Dhawan: From Karan Johar’s one student to the other; VD is one of the few B-towners who came out and appreciated the AIB Knockout. We hear he seemed to enjoy it sooo much that he’s dying to do it himself. We love the idea!
Riteish Deshmukh: He’s the King of comedy. Not just on silver screen, but on stage and in real life too RD has a funny side. No wonder then that he’s such a fabulous host. With Riteish on stage, we can expect some cool comebacks too.
Uday Chopra and Nargis Fakhri: Well, together or not this duo will make the perfect Roast contestants. While Nargis has a great sense of humour, which is visible in her Twitter posts, Uday too is wacky. And we’re sure the two will be the panel’s delight.
Saif Ali Khan: The Nawab of Pataudi like Riteish has a penchant for romcoms. Those in his close circles swear that he has a wicked sense of humour. This Cool Khan apart from his hosting stint has given us a sneak peek of his fun side on Karan’s popular chat show Koffee with Karan. With him being a participant in the Roast we can expect a laughathon. And if Saif and SRK come together, then we will not be surprised if their episode will break the internet!

Varun Dhawan opened up in an interview recently about how his upcoming film changed a lot in his personal relationships…

Varun Dhawan seems like an upbeat actor who loves playing the happy guy on screen. But in a recent interview to DNA, he revealed that he had got sick of playing happy characters in films and that Badlapur gave him a release where he could portray darker emotions. It would be wrong to assume that Badlapur didn’t affect Varun after the cameras would stop rolling. Even when Varun would stop shooting, he would continue thinking about Raghu, his character in Badlapur. Consequently, that changed a lot in his personal life as well.
Talking about how the Sriram Raghavan film affected his relationships Varun said, “That phase (of shooting Badlapur) changed my friendship and equation with everyone, not just Alia. That is the price I had to pay to do this film. I actually have lost touch with lot of my school friends. I missed a close friend’s wedding and he really got upset.. There have been many casualties in terms of my personal relationships with a lot of people. Now, obviously, people who are from the industry will speak more about it, but my actual closest friends are not from the industry. So I will mend those relationships first and then think about the others. I don’t think anyone is upset with me and even if they are they should go watch Badlapur!”
At the Life OK Screen Awards recently, Varun gave Alia the cold shoulder and went up to her current flame Sidharth Malhotra to hug and greet him instead. Post their break-up, Alia and Varun haven’t exactly been on good terms with each other. About the episode, Varun revealed, “I was on the stage, I noticed Sidharth because clearly he’s taller and I could spot him easily. But let me tell you very honestly that when I was doing Badlapur, I didn’t speak to anyone. I was shooting it till December-end and during that time I cut off from everyone including my parents.”
Clearly it was one bitter break-up, Alia and Varun’s. But we just hope that the two actors find it in themselves to move on and work with each other in the future

The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor was reportedly seeing the Romanian beauty…

Has Salman Khan lost love yet again? Well, rumours suggest that his Romanian girlfriend has left Mumbai. Apparently, Ms Iulia Vantur has bagged a new show in Romania and she will be settling there for a while to give time to her new work.

Iulia is an actress and a TV anchor as well and was in Mumbai trying out her luck in Bollywood. She has also done an item number in Pulkit Samrat’s O Teri! Iulia and Salman met on the sets of the film and instantly fell for each other. Salman is very private about his relationship with Iulia but we heard that during his kid sister Arpita Khan’s wedding Salman was introducing Iulia to all the guests as his girlfriend.
More recently, Iulia was also spotted chilling with Salman on the sets of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The actress has now moved back to Romania for a while and the status of her relationship with Salman is now unknown.
We just hope that Iulia is only back in Romania for her new show and that she comes back to Mumbai to reunite with Salman soon! What are your thoughts on this.

Los Angeles: Actor Liam Neeson, who reprises his role as retired CIA agent Bryan Mills in the third instalment of ‘Taken’, says this will be the final instalment of the series.
"I have to go on the run, I'll put it that way, from the not-so-lawful types and the lawful authorities," contactmusic.com quoted Neeson as saying.
"Bryan Mills (his character) served his country faithfully, but now even they are after him. They must not like me," he added.
The first instalment of ‘Taken’ starring Neeson came in 2008. What on the face of it appeared a formulaic thriller about a man travelling through Europe to find his kidnapped daughter became a blockbuster that spawned a sequel in 2012.
Nevertheless, Neeson is confident that the coming movie will be his final outing as Mills.
"It's a rollicking good story. But I think this is the end," he said.

When Ranveer Singh and Govinda are seen in the same frame, one is bound to be left in splits. While a certain amount of goofiness is expected from the duo, the same coming from Ali Zafar is a refreshing change to watch indeed. They say two is a company and three is a crowd, but the same doesnt hold true forRanveer, Govinda and Ali as they certainly are their best, when seen together! The trio’s hilarious stint in the song is the highlight of the video without a doubt. Be it Govinda’s signature style moves, Ranveer’s eccentricity or Ali’s suave swag, the three lads are here to kill it all the way!
This tune keeps us tuned in
The most appealing element of the number is the background tune. Music trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have done it again by putting forth an intriguing and haunting melody, topped with cathcy beats. TheKill Dil title track is swanky composition no doubt and will stay in the minds of the listerners for many days to come.
They are in for the kill
The action sequences in the video have a certain Quentin Tarantino feel to them and are visually appealing. Where Govinda, Ranveer and Ali keep it light with their quirky stunts, their action packed drama on the other hand gives the presentation and edge and an intense effect.
Kill Dil had aleardy created a stir across the nation with its unique trailer. With the title track out, we are certain the venture is going to be a one to watch out for! Mathias Duplessy and Sachin-Jigar come up with a quirky album for Deepika Padukone-Arjun Kapoor starrer

Composers: Mathias Duplessy, Sachin-Jigar and Sachin Gupta

Lyricists: Sachin Gupta, Jigar Saraiya and Dinoo

Singers: Mukhtiyar Ali, Divya Kumar, Sachin-Jigar and Mathias Duplessy

Homi Adajania’s next directorial venture Finding Fanny will hit the theaters next month. Starring Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia and Pankaj Kapur in the lead, this film has managed to create great buzzcourtesy its interesting trailer which released not too long ago. In fact, Finding Fannyis one film which movie goers shouldn’t miss but have the makers incorporated equally interesting music? Let’s find out….
Fanny reComposed by Mathias Duplessy, this quirky song has been sung by Rajasthani singer Mukhtiyar Ali. Fanny re is fun song which is soothing to the ears but at the same time its very has a very old world charm and feel to it making it although more hummable. Its not a typical Goan song yet manages to capture its spirit. The video is equally entertaining. What’s makes it a visual delight is that the fact the makers have shot it candidly. No doubt, Fanny re is worth hearing!
Mahi veThis one is the exact version of Fanny re except that the word Fanny has been replaced by Mahi. Also, the lyrics are bit different and the makers have used more of Punjabi words in Mahi ve. Though its a good hear, wethinks Fanny re is hands down better.
Shake your bootiya: This one is again a fun number and entertaining to the core. Its not a typical Bollywood dance number but its peppy music and hatke lyrics will surely compel you to shake yourbootiya. Composed by Sachin-Jigar and Sachin Gupta, Shake your bootiya is sung by Divya Kumar and we must admit he has done a mighty job crooning this energetic number. The song starts off with music but soon you hear Kumar’s voice and from there on its an absolute mad and entertaining number till the end. Even the video is hilarious with all the actors shaking their booties. Obviously, we recommend Shake your bootiya to all those who love refreshing music and dancing as well.
Ding Dong: This song has been composed and sung by Mathias Duplessy himself. Its an English number with Guitar in the mainstay. The song starts off with music which is simple yet catchy. You then hear Mathias whose voice is actually dumdaar. But somehow Ding Dong doesn’t quite match up to Fanny re and Shake your bootiya. Maybe coz its a bit slow compared to the other two songs. But its not that bad that you can’t hear it once.
Verdict: This album is like a breath of fresh air thanks to the composers who haven’t stuck to the conventional path and have dared to experiment.
Our pickFanny re and Shake your bootiya

Khoobsurat music review: Badshah’s rap song is the highlight of Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan’s romcom!

Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan’s much-awaited romantic comedy Khoobsurat has managed to create great buzz. In fact, the trailer garnered good reviews and was appreciated widely. But have the makers of Sonam-Fawad starrer incorporated equally engaging music? Let’s find out….

Engine ki seeti: Sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Resmi Sateesh, this upbeat number is entertaining to the core. Its a Rajasthani folk song which has been given a Bollywood twist and we aren’t complaining a bit because its catchy and will make you groove. Yes, the lyrics are strange but then you cant expect every song to be soul stirring. This one is for all those who love to enjoy music by dancing. Even the video is equally entertaining courtesy Sonam Kapoor.
Abhi toh party shuru hui hai: This one is crooned by Punjabi rapper Badshah and Aastha. And we must admit both the singers have done a great job. Though Badshah did remind us of Yo Yo Honey Singh, he has nailed this party number with his dumdaar voice and rapping skills. Peppy music, wacky lyrics and absolutely mad video makes Abhi toh party shuru hui hai an audio-visual delight.
Maa ka phone: Priyal Panchal and Mouli Dave have lent their voice for this number. Though the music is electric and lyrics are funny, Maa ka phone fails to create a solid impact. After a point, the song gets repetitive and doesn’t hold your attention. It seems as if composer Sneha Khanwalkar has tired too hard to make this one funny and entertaining.
Baal khade: Sunidhi Chauhan gets to sing one more song in the film. But this is different fromEngine ki seeti. Baal khade is more on the slower pace however its not a typical Bollywood song. The lyrics are wacky and Sunidhi has sung this track in a hatke accent but sadly it just doesn’t work at all. In fact, you may not even hear the full song because it gets way boring after a minute or so. Guess it would be better if you stay away from this one.

Preet: Sung by Jasleen Kaur Royal, this is the only song in the album which is subtle and has meaningful lyrics. Kaur has crooned this track beautifully and wethinks this one will appeal to all those who love hearing songs which are soothing to the ears. Overall, Preet is a decent hear.
Verdict: The music of Khoobsurat is refreshing and will appeal to its target audience which is the youth.

Composers: Sneha Khanwalkar and Badshah

Lyricists: Ikram Rajasthani, Badshah, Sunil Choudhary, Amitabh Verma, Sneha Khanwalkar

Singers: Sunidhi Chauhan, Resmi Sateesh, Badshah, Aasthsa, Priyal Panchal, Mouli Dav, Jasleen Kaur Royal.

Our pick: Abhi toh party shuru hui hai and Engine ki seeti

Priyanka Chopra delivers an emotionally powerful performance

What’s it about:
I was slightly alarmed when I heard about Mary Kom’s run-time being a little over two hours. To package a living person’s story convincingly in that short duration seemed like a Herculean task to me. But as I walked out of the theatre I realised that I had under estimated Omung Kumar’s directorial prowess and boy was I glad to be proven wrong! Mary Kom is a story not just for suppressed women seeking inspiration to break away from the shackles of patriarchy, stereotyping and discrimination; it is a story for every Indian who ever harboured an impossible dream. Through Priyanka, Omung chronicles the journey of a headstrong toddler who picks up a boxing glove and wants to learn the sport on a whim and later transforms into a determined World Champion.Mary Kom is gritty and inspirational therefore it is one of the most important films of this year.
What’s hot:
Priyanka is a revelation, she never fails to surprise! Just when you thought she can’t push the boundaries after Barfi!, came Mary Kom to prove you wrong! PC doesn’t just take on the role of Mary she becomes Mary. She is certainly one actor who doesn’t do a half-baked job when it comes to delivering a performance. But credit must also be given to Kumar for making Mary Kom an authentic narrative by paying attention to minute details like clothes, props and locations in the film. Special mention to Sunil Thapa who plays PC’s trainer in the film for his performance is engaging. Darshan Kumar as Mary’s husband K Onler Kom does a decent job for his debut but gets overshadowed in every frame he shares with Priyanka. The music is spot on. Kumar plays the national anthem right at the end of the movie leaving you high on patriotic sentiment.
What’s not:
While the pace of the plot is satisfactory it runs the risk of being sketchy at times. During the first half it moves back and forth in time making the narrative a tad bit jarring. It almost seems as if viewers are being made to rush through the story without pausing and pondering at certain places. It isn’t exactly unethical but the director largely depends on the audience’s patriotic sentiment to evoke the response he needs. The heavy doses of drama with a dash of Bollywood romance makes this bio-drama slightly distance itself from reality at times. Awkward product placement in the movie stands out as a sore thumb. Notwithstanding these loopholes, Mary Kom, the inspirational drama will prove to be a huge crowd-puller of the season, and rightly so.
