Green Technology is also known as environmental technology or clean technology. It is the technology which is used in such a way that it does not disturb our environment and conserves natural resources and to curb the negative impacts of human involvement. The term is also used to describe sustainable energy generation technologies such as photovoltaic, wind turbines, bioreactors, etc. Green technology comprises of methods and materials from techniques for generating energy to non-toxic clean products. The purpose of this technology is to reduce global warming and green house effects. Its main goals are reducing pollution, re-using and recycling of wastage, energy efficiency, safety and health concerns.
Reducing waste and pollution and developing alternative technologies are its main purposes. Re-using things by recycling them like plastic bottles. Recycling is a process of collecting and re-manufacturing of waste materials to make new products. Recycling is the key component of reducing waste.

These technology facilities are not easy to build and time is an issue with green living because first you have to adopt the green living. Generating electricity from solar energy means less consumption of fuels, green house effects and it also reduces pollution.
